Festival Green Valentines 2014

living in Auroville, who felt inspired by the project.

of what Green Valentines stands for and wants to celebrate !

Green Valentines Festival is a GLOBAL ONLINE EVENT that first began with a festival in Laguna Beach, California in 2009 in honor of our angel Christofer who came to bless our lives for a short time and who left his body just before his 4th birthday with an inoperable brain tumor.
During that difficult time of transition, the community of Laguna Beach was so supportive and helpful that I wanted to thank them by creating the first Green Valentines festival to provide a clear « sustainable living consciousness » to this fantastic little town and all the children so they could have a brighter future.
The next year the festival took another form and chose to honor the amazing women around Laguna Beach, CA who had non-profit organizations and who were causing miracles for others with their loving service.
The 3rd year was to celebrate Marianne Williamson and her « Sister Giant » even who had touched me so much and I wanted to offer that to our town as well.
The last festival we did was in 2014 and it was dedicated to the children and young people themselves as they were the ones who spoke and performed that day. This is the video that you can see below.
And now, 10 years later, it is an online Green Valentines festival that is happening, inspired by « Sustainable India », while we met by serendipity in New Delhi at the Sri Auribindo and the Mother ashram and were invited to participate in their award ceremony at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, to invite anyone who feels inspired to honor Mother Earth in their own way, or to share about their sustainable living projects so others can support them.

Green Valentines Festival est un FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL EN LIGNE qui a débuté à Laguna Beach en Californie en 2009 en l’honneur de notre ange Christofer venu bénir nos vies pendant une courte période et qui a quitté son corps juste avant son 4ème anniversaire avec une tumeur cérébrale inopérable.
Pendant cette période de transition difficile, la communauté de Laguna Beach a été si solidaire et serviable que j’ai voulu la remercier en créant le premier festival Green Valentines pour fournir une « conscience de vie durable » claire à cette fantastique petite ville et à tous les enfants afin qu’ils pourrait avoir un avenir meilleur.
L’année suivante, ce sont les femmes extraordinaires de Laguna qui ont été célébrées lors du 2e festival Green Valentines, celles qui avaient des organisations à but non lucratif et qui faisaient des miracles pour les autres grâce à leur service aimant.
La 3ème année, c’était pour célébrer Marianne Williamson et son « Sister Giant » qui m’avait tant touchée et je voulais offrir cela à notre ville aussi.
Le dernier festival que nous avons organisé remonte à 2014 et il était dédié aux enfants et aux jeunes eux-mêmes, car ce sont eux qui ont parlé et joué ce jour-là. C’est la vidéo que vous pouvez voir ci-dessous.
Et maintenant, 10 ans plus tard, c’est un festival Green Valentines en ligne inspiré de « Sustainable India », alors que nous nous sommes rencontrés par hasard à New Delhi au Sri Auribindo et à l’ashram Mère et avons été invités à participer à leur cérémonie de remise des prix. à l’Université Jawaharlal Nehru, pour inviter tous ceux qui se sentent inspirés à honorer la Terre Mère à leur manière, ou à partager leurs projets de vie durable afin que d’autres puissent les soutenir.
